Barrière patches should be applied to clean & dry skin. Do not apply patches on your face or head, and do not apply patches to any area where skin is broken or irritated. Our favorite areas to apply a patch include: inner and outer wrists, upper arm, shoulder blades, collarbone, upper and lower back, hips, thighs, and ankles. Apply patch daily to an area with little or no hair, i.e., wrist, shoulder, back, or hips, and avoid any area that is particularly sensitive. The adhesive used in these patches is a PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) and is not produced with any colophony/rosin. The patches are hypoallergenic and should not irritate the skin. If any irritation occurs, please remove the patch.
